10 Characters I Want in Star Wars: Forces of Destiny

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

I want talk about STAR WARS: FORCES OF DESTINY. The show is a series of animated shorts that cover female characters from, so far, the Prequel era and Rebellion era. I enjoy the show, I really do. It's cute and entertaining, but the show needs to cover more characters. If they are going to keep with the female character theme, here are ten characters I would like Lucasfilm to cover in future shorts.

10. Doctor Aphra

Doctor Aphra and her wild adventures make for the perfect episode of FORCES OF DESTINY. Give me a 2 to 3 minute short on this lady. Lucasfilm can hire Jessica Henwick to voice her.

9. Asajj Ventress

Asajj Ventress is a no brainer, and I'm actually surprised we haven't seen her in an episode, yet. She doesn't even need to star in her own episode, though, I would LOVE if we could get an episode on Asajj Ventress the bounty hunter.

8. Rae Sloane

If you follow my social media accounts, you know I'm a huge fanboy of Rae Sloane. She first debuted in John Jackson Miller's STAR WARS: A NEW DAWN, and ever since she has pretty much been a fan favorite. I would love to get a short about her quest to find that mysterious Kanan Jarrus.

7. Seventh Sister Inquisitor

My favorite Inquisitor. The official Star Wars Databank says she is "one of the Empire's elite Jedi hunters," but in STAR WARS REBELS, we only get to see her at the end of her career. I want to see the 7th Sister take out a Jedi in FORCES OF DESTINY.

6. Rook Kast

Rook Kast, who debuted in the Dark Horse Comic's SON OF DATHOMIR 1, is a Mandalorian warrior loyal to Darth Maul. We don't see too much of her in the comic series, but we get enough to know that she is a capable soldier and deserving of a animated short following her POV during Maul's takeover of Mandalore.

5. Jess Pava

Let's get inside the Resistance with a FORCES OF DESTINY episode starring Jess Pava. We see her piloting skills in THE FORCE AWAKENS, and she is one of the survivors of the attack on Starkiller Base.

4. Captain Phasma

Oh yea, I'm a huge Captain Phasma fan. An episode showing her train her stormtroopers would be a dream episode. Sort of like her story in BEFORE THE AWAKENING.

3. Commander Alecia Beck

Alecia Beck quickly grabbed my attention as a character in STAR WARS: SMUGGLER'S RUN. She would make a fine addition to the FORCES OF DESTINY lineup. I think a lot of fans want more Imperial stories, anyway. I certainly do.

2. Korr Sella

Korr Sella was supposed to get more screen time in Episode VII, so can we please get her in FORCES OF DESTINY? Also, it will give us an episode set in an era besides the Prequel and Original Trilogy eras.

1. The Presence

The Presence is another character I desperately want to see on FORCES OF DESTINY. The Presence is an ancient Sith Lord (Sith Lady in this case) found in the Sith holocron on Malachor. I would love an episode of her teaching Ezra. Would be a great look at how Ezra learned those powers in the season three premiere of STAR WARS REBELS.

Which Star Wars female characters would you like to see in STAR WARS: FORCES OF DESTINY? May the Force be with you.
