Welcome to another edition of Mando Spotlight, where I discuss a part of Mandalorian lore from the official Star Wars canon. This week, I will be talking about the Mandalorian Crusaders and Neo-Crusaders. I will admit, this will be a short article, since not much information has been released on the Crusaders and Neo-Crusaders. They are canon, though, and that's the important thing to take away from this. Who are the Crusaders? EA Turns Off In-Game Purchases for Star Wars Battlefront II

EA Star Wars has just made a huge announcement about STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II on their Facebook page. According to Oskar Gabrielson, GM, DICE, all in-game purchases have been turned off. This was said in a statement made by Oskar. Here is a quote from the statement: "We hear you loud and clear, so we’re turning off all in-game purchases. We will now spend more time listening, adjusting, balancing and tuning. This means that the option to purchase crystals in the game is now offline, and all progression will be earned through gameplay. The ability to purchase crystals in-game will become available at a later date, only after we’ve made changes to the game. We’ll share more details as we work

In this week's WHERE ARE THEY NOW?, I will talk about General Kleeve from Marvel's comic book series STAR WARS: KANAN. As always, this series will highlight characters whose fates are currently unknown in the Star Wars canon. Major spoilers for STAR WARS: KANAN to follow. A Look at 'Star Wars: Thrawn #1'

On the official Star Wars website, Lucasfilm and Marvel have shared an exclusive look at issue #1 of the six-part series STAR WARS: THRAWN, which is a comic adaptation of Timothy Zahn's THRAWN novel. STAR WARS: THRAWN #1 will hit comic book shelves February 7, 2018. The series will be written by Jody Houser with art from Luke Ross. Below, you can check out the cover art for the first issue, along with some looks at the first few pages. As a fan of Zahn's STAR WARS: THRAWN, I'm looking forward to the comic book version, which will include scenes not revealed in the novelization version. Will you be following this series? New Star Wars Trilogy Announced

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that a new trilogy of Star Wars films is in the works. It will be created by Rian Johnson, the director of Star Wars Episode IX. The trilogy will be separate from the Episodic films, and will cover a part of Star Wars that we have yet to see on the big screen. There really aren't too many details to give, other than Rian Johnson having some sort of creative duties over the trilogy. Rian will write and direct the first of the films, with Ram Bergman producing. Watch the official Star Wars announcement in the video below. The official Star Wars website has released a preview for the upcoming book "Star Wars: Canto Bight," which is a part of the JOURNEY TO STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI series. A New Hope Vinyl Box Set Coming December 1st

The official Star Wars website has announced that the soundtrack for A NEW HOPE will be getting a vinyl release on December 1st. Since this is Star Wars, it obviously isn't your normal vinyl box set. The set includes a 48 page book titled "Turning Up A Galaxy," and is written by Jeff Bond. The coolest feature is a holographic Death Star that comes with the vinyl. In today's Guru 10, I will share with you my current ten favorite John Williams scores from Star Wars Episodic films. This list isn't a ranking and will cover the scores from STAR WARS EPISODES I-VIII. 1. Victory Celebration (Return of the Jedi) I absolutely love the Special Editions, and "Victory Celebration" is one of my favorite changes to Episode VI. This song is festive and makes a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart, unless you're a Sith. 2. Grievous Speaks to Lord Sidious (Revenge of the Sith) One of my favorite scores, from the best Star Wars film, is the track playing when Grievous lands on Utapau and speaks with Darth Sidious.
